Digital Capture

When you don't have film for us to scan or digital files of your paintings or if you have heavily darkroom manipulated photograph for making Iris prints, we can do a direct digital capture of your original art here in our studio. We use a digital scan back with our large format camera to create the file that we need for making Iris prints.

Our digital capturing process uses an extremely high end system and is probably the most ideal way to make Iris prints editions from paintings. By capturing the original art directly to our computers we avoid second generation loss that occurs when scanning film.

Another great benefit of digital capture is that we have the original work right in front of us when we do proofing and that enables us to proof more accurately.

Digital Capture is available for all artists who can ship their original work to us or drop them off to our studio.
